JUNE 26TH IS THE DAY OF THE PARISH FÊTE- PLEASE CAN YOU HELP BY
Baking a cake or bringing something else you have made or grown for the Cake and Produce Stall
Entering the Victoria Sponge Competition or bringing along plants for the Plant Stall
Having a clear out and bringing us some books, unwanted presents, toys or bric-a-brac for our stalls
Finding some bottles for the bottle stall or wrapped sweets for Guess the Number of Sweets In the JarBuying lots of tickets for the Grand DrawHelping with setting out, manning a stall or clearing up

And finally… coming along on the day, bringing your friends and enjoying yourselves!

Draw tickets: Could any one who is on the electoral roll who has not collected their draw tickets, please collect them after the service from Sam and Jonathan who will be at the back of the church. If you are new to the congregation and would be able to sell or purchase some tickets then please come and take some as wellThe Bran-Tub – the women’s group needs lots of small gifts for the bran-tub, either for boys or for girls or for either boys or girlsIf you have goods that you are giving for the fete, please will you bring them to church on Friday between 3:30 and 6:30pm

To all Christian Aid supporters: Tea in the Palace Gardens (in the Cathedral Grounds) on Wednesday 23rd June at 2:30 pm. Numbers are necessary for catering purposes. Please ring 273889 if you have not already given in your name. Jane Woodman

Our next collection for our Charitable Giving is for the orphanage in our twin diocese in Thika
, Kenya. Last year our collection enabled them to buy some musical instruments as well as supporting the work in general ways. Remember a little goes a long way and any donation will be most appreciated for this most worthy cause. The collection will be on July 4th. Thank you. Mollie Curry

Mid Week Services
: Each Tuesday and Friday at 8am we have morning prayer followed by Holy Communion (finishes at about 8:30), and on Thursday there is morning prayer at the same time lasting for about 20 minutes. Might this be for you?
